We're Wasting Our Time

The days of life and death are spent
As drops of rain on wet cement
The normal people earn their rent
But the messages, they go unsent

We need to part with our sinful ways
Now in these times are our darkest days
Where drugs play a part in the sadistic maze
That is the disease of the human race

At times like this we need to pray
Be thankful for all that's good today
Instead of focusing on our dismay
Of how we'll make it through another day

Be it times are good or times are bad
We have forgotten all the love we have
For the people and for the land
We unite and make a mighty stand!

Voices raise into a powerful spell
And we send the ungrateful straight to hell
Then eat our dinner like all is well
When in truth we just sentenced ourselves

So forget the hardships and the strife
And just live your normal happy life
Forget the bad times and the pain
Get into the warmth and out of the rain

America is proud; this we know
But there's no need to put on a show
Death after death, blood on a window
Children left with nowhere to go

War is bringing us to a bitter end
The government has the money to spend!
To hell with civility, this is war!
We'll get those bastards and even the score!

Whatever you idiots want to believe
Don't you let the anger decieve
As the light of judgement guides our way
To live in the light another day.
