"Stars"

I've gazed upon the midnight skies
Seen only trouble, lust and lies
These stars that used to guide my way
Show nothing more than painful days
That lie ahead awaiting fate
To come and take my breath away
Away with life, away with me
These stars are night, yet to be
For now they hide away in space
Awaiting darkness, pain, disgrace
Upon the dawn of shame they fall
Discreting lonliness, sorrow, and awe
