Effortless grace upon white glory
Sweeping across the page
One soul bringing life to a second
Be it love, fear, or rage.

Emptiness is filled with words
Spoken as heartbeats in time
Over and over they rool upon nothing
Brightening one's curious mind

Escape made with voice of a pen
Strokes that invoke tears
Often in faces of others, as they share
Broken dreams over the years

Entrapment of words on paper
Spoken from a soul in truth
Others hearts beat in time with yours
Bringing out the others in you.
