"Playground"

I can't escape from the pains
That have a clasp on my mind
Which are holding me down
Away from the truth
That this life I lead
Is simply
A playground on which others dance

I try and try to get away
I reach out my arms
And run towards the light
That looks like the aura
Of a better tomorrow
But I get there 
And all I find
Is another emptyness
Another void

I turn around and try to leave
But the door is gone
I've lost my way out
I have no escape
I can't get away
From the truth
That this life I lead
Is simply
A toy for others to play with
A playground on which others dance
