INTO THE PIT OF LOVE


What am I supposed to say to someone
Whos beauty is beyond words
Whos eyes light up the room
         like captured stars
The heavens shine down upon her
Making her every move known to me
And bringing the light to the perfection
         that is she

Words cannot express how I feel for this girl
I find myself often speechless,
For I have no words worthy enough for her ears
Often enough I try to find things to do
         that would please her
And to make her love me more

It's been a while... am I making any progress?
It's hard to tell, but I won't give up
For every breath she takes, I fall deeper
           into the pit of love
              and this time...
                    I'm not climbing out!!
