What's Hot and What's Not?
Well first off, I've changed my mind! I did the first movie review on
"The Glass House... Article Below!
THE GLASS HOUSE
Drama/Suspense
The movie starts with 16 year old Ruby Baker (Li Li Sobieski)having a night out on the town with her girl friends. Simply out just to have a good time, the girls stay till near dawn before dropping Ruby off at her house. She walks into her yard and notices cop cars parked in the driveway. At first, she thinks her parents called the cops on her because she was out for so long, but then she comes to find that the officers were actually there to notify her that her parents were just killed in a horrific car accident. They are adopted by ex-neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Glass. They are relocated to a summer house, and are transferred into a new school. Sometime later, Ruby calls a social worker questioning the Glass's ability to raise them properly. She suspects foul play involving the $4,000,000.00 trust fund their parents left them after their deaths. The social worker pays them a visit, and the Glass's apparently heard ahead of time and got the house in order! Ruby's younger brother Ryan even lies to the social worker about what he does in his spare time!
The Glass's manage to run off the social worker, and that is when things really get going! It turns out that they really are after the money, as the husband has a debt to pay off to the mob and his wife has a severe drug addiction, which later results in her tragic death of an overdose. Ruby ends up foiling the plot and ending poor Mr. Glass's life by hitting him with a police car!

This is a great movie with a very good plot to it. The acting is amazing and the camera angles really add to the suspense of the film. There is a lot of great music entwined into the movie, but there are a few songs that just don't seem to fit. As an overall rating, this movie gets a most deserved 3.5 stars.
